Customer wants to install a stamp grill for Easier filter change out, quoted $188 for grill changeout. 14x20x1 grill. Ac service in Cumming Ga. Discovered failed condensate pump shut system down. Replaced pump and system cooling at this time.

james@comfortcontrolinc.com
Upon arrival Mr. Nelson noted that the upstairs didn’t seem to be getting great airflow, after further inspection I found the upstairs evaporator to be frozen due to a clogged filter from drywall work. Replaced 16x20x1 filter in system and turned on fan to melt the ice, also cleared drain line to prevent water damage in home. Will need to return on a later date to be able to test pressures. System should be left off for 8+ hours to fully melt the ice. Maintenance will be performed on both systems, technician that comes will need a 6’ ladder to gain access to the attic. Customer wants to look into duct cleaning once repairs are done. Thank you for choosing Comfort Control.

james@comfortcontrolinc.com
A/c diagnostic in Gainesville. Found nest thermostat with no power at all. Unit is in the attic. Power switch to the unit was OFF. Turn everything ON System is cooling at this time.

james@comfortcontrolinc.com
Thermostat is not transmitting voltage properly and short cycling the system, causing it to cut on and off sporadically. Thermostat will need to be replaced for this issue to stop. Customer has contentions with the new ducts and how they were wrapped, bare sheet metal is exposed on all 3 Y joints. Taped and masticed, will need to comeback to do one more tape wrap when mastic dries. Customer also had contention with condensate pump, stating that is didn’t seem to be allowing much water to pump, condensate pump is currently operating properly. Added cap for better p-trap pressure. System is currently holding a good charge ( 101 / 292 ) with a 8° subcool. Will need to come back out and re mastic.
