Braselton, GA has turned to Comfort Control since 1992 for professional cooling and heating repairs, installations and maintenance.
Residential AC repairs near Braselton, GA can range in cost from $120 on the low end to over $1000 on the high end, but the average AC repair cost is around $360. Many factors determine the final bill for your air conditioning repair, including the make, model and age of the system, as well as the nature of the breakdown and whether or not the unit receives regular maintenance.
If your air conditioning system is running but not cooling your Braselton home, it could be a sign that you need AC repair. However, before you call in the experts, check that it’s not something simple and easy to fix on your own.
- Change your air filters to be sure they’re clean.
- Check your thermostat to be sure it’s set to cool.
- Open your electrical panel and make sure the AC is getting power.
If your AC still isn’t cooling after you’ve done these things, call your local HVAC company for a professional diagnostic.
Much as your car needs regular oil changes and tune-ups to work its best, your air conditioner needs spring maintenance to provide your home with consistent, high-quality cooling. If you don’t keep up with regular maintenance on your central air conditioning system, you could be faced with higher energy bills or frequent repair needs, and could even have to replace your AC years sooner than expected.
Check out these reviews and see how we deliver air conditioning and heating service that residents of Braselton, GA turn to us for again and again.

Drain had clog at male fitting, male fitting was also leaking water out of port. Cleared male fitting, replaced male fitting, added a union, and cleared drain line. System is draining properly at this time.

james@comfortcontrolinc.com
Water leak from the upstairs unit. Found the source of the leak to be from a poorly connected section of PVC. (See pictures) Removed and rebuilt the beginning section of the drain line, including the clean out and P trap. Confirmed fall for proper drainage. (Also see pictures) Repairs needed: The indoor unit needs to be removed/uninstalled, to address the wet decking and wet insulation under the decking. The emergency pan is showing rust from the water collecting outside of the pan. When the unit is reinstalled, the pan needs to be pulled forward and to the left to be under the drain line, so the pan can catch the water in case of a breakage or backup in the future. Recommend primary and secondary drain outlets to be protected with overflow protection switches.
